2015

Founded as Station Five (Sydney)

We began as an innovation consultancy, helping large organisations like Qantas, EY, Bupa, and ANZ transform their operations through technology.

2020

Major Transformation

As COVID disrupted markets, we pivoted from institutional innovation to delivering agile engineering teams for startups, led by industry veterans and backed by a strong advisory board.

2021 to 2022

From Six to a Hundred

We grew from a tight-knit core of six to over 100 full-time engineers in just 18 months, focused on empowering early-stage companies and high-impact initiatives.

2022

New Innovations

When the World Food Programme enlisted us to support conflict-sensitivity tech in the Philippines and Bangladesh, we demonstrated our model works at scale and in complex environments.

Following success, we partnered with the Swiss Government and the United Nations to support critical programs in the Horn of Africa, solidifying our role in mission-driven tech.

Late 2022

Welcome to Adaca

Station Five had evolved beyond its original scope. We rebranded to Adaca, a name that pays tribute to Ada Lovelace, the first ever computer programmer.
